Everyone is invited to the 100th Dyer Baptist Association annual meeting on Monday, October 20th at First Baptist Newbern at 6:00 PM. Worship will be led by an association-wide choir and Dr. Randy Davis and Dr. Steve Gaines. Please make plans to join us for this night of worship.

Our next business meeting will be Sunday 10/19. If you have an item to be discussed, please speak with Bro. Bob or one of the deacons.

Update on the building: We have received our building permit and next we will be looking for someone to do the concrete work.

We need your help for our Trunk-or-Treat. We plan to set up in downtown Friendship on October 31 and give out candy and gospel materials from the church to the community. Could you bring in a bag of candy to be used for the night by Wednesday, Oct. 29?

Operation Christmas Child kicks off next Sunday and goes through Sunday November 23. We are asking individuals to pack one or more shoeboxes for a boy or girl and bring them to the service on November 23. Bro. Bob will take them to a drop-off location on Monday, November 24. Materials will be available in the service next Sunday.

November 2nd marks the end of daylight savings time, so be sure to turn those clocks back before going to bed on November 1st.
